Port Said Governorate: Pharaonic Petroleum Company Hosts Awareness Seminar on Climate Change in Collaboration with the Adaptation Enhancement Project

In line with the ongoing awareness campaign launched under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation in Port Said Governorate, the Pharaonic Petroleum Company today hosted an awareness seminar for the team of the "Enhancing Climate Change Adaptation in the Nile Delta and Northern Coast of Egypt" project. This seminar comes within the context of the diligent efforts undertaken by the Egyptian state to address and adapt to the impacts of climate change.

The seminar focused on providing a detailed presentation about current climate challenges and their effects on the Nile Delta, which is considered one of the areas most vulnerable to the impacts of climate change. The seminar also reviewed the efforts of relevant state bodies in dealing with these impacts, highlighting the activities and initiatives undertaken by the "Enhancing Climate Change Adaptation" project.
